A schoolboy teased by his own mum for looking like 'Boris Johnson's offspring' was left red-faced after hacking off his own fringe.

George-Henry Denton, who hoped to one day grow his long locks into a man bun, took matters into his own hands after getting annoyed with the comparison to the messy-haired prime minister.

The seven-year-old decided to take a pair of craft scissors to his straight blonde hair, before proudly showing off his new do to his taunting mother.

But mum Karly, 33, was left in stitches when she saw what her son had done. George-Henry hadn't realised just how much of his fringe he and his six-year-old brother Frankie-James had hacked off, and burst into tears when he realised what he had done, Karly said.
