Boy, 7, 'bitten on the head by dog' in pub beer garden as cops hunt owners
dailyrecord.co.ukA seven-year-old boy was rushed to hospital before undergoing surgery after allegedly being bitten by a dog in a pub beer garden.The child suffered an injury to his head before police, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to the scene at The Crows Nest Inn in Swanage on Tuesday, May 2.Officers are now trying to trace the animal’s owners - believed to be a man and a woman - who allegedly left the area shortly afterwards without leaving their details.
Investigators have released a photograph of two people they wish to speak to and are urging anyone with information to come forward, Dorset Live reports.Police Constable Alistair James, of Purbeck police, said: "This was understandably a distressing incident for the young boy involved and his family and we hope he makes a full recovery from his injury."We are conducting enquiries into this matter and have obtained an image of a man and woman with the dog that was believed to be involved.
We are keen to speak to these people so we can take their account of what happened.“I would urge anyone with information relating to their identity to please come forward.
