A 17-year-old boy from Wigan has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man aged in his 50s was stabbed, police have revealed.
The teenage suspect, who hasn't been named, remains in police custody today to be questioned by detectives. Emergency services were scrambled to Kensington Road in Morecambe, Lancashire, at around 6.45pm on Saturday after reports of a stabbing.

Lancashire Constabulary said he was held on Monday morning on suspicion of attempted murder and he remains in custody. Police said it is being treated as an 'isolated incident' and reassured the public that they have a 'dedicated team of officers in the area assigned to this case'.
