Boy, 16, stabbed with machete in south Manchester

A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in south Manchester. The teenager was attacked with a machete in Manchester Road, Chorlton, shortly after 7.45pm on Thursday (June 20).

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene and found the boy with a large cut to his back. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

until now Police have now issued an appeal for information about the stabbing. Inspector Shauna Hayden, of Greater Manchester Police's City of Manchester South Division, said: “Our investigation is underway and we are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry.
