Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

He was left with minor injuries following the attack in the city's George Square. Officers from Police Scotland are now appealing for information as they hunt people involved in the incident.Inspector Norman Towler said: "Officers in Edinburgh have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with a racial assault which happened in George Square on Friday, 11 December."A 21-year-old man was approached by a group of youths, who spoke to him and subjected him to racial abuse before he was assaulted."The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries."The teenager will be reported and enquiries.
