A 15-year-old boy tragically collapsed and died in front of horrified and friends and family at a busy restaurant over the weekend.
Emergency services raced to Browns at the Liverpool ONE complex after receiving reports that a boy had collapsed on Saturday afternoon.
Customers and staff tried desperately to help the teenager as they waited for the ambulance to arrive, the Mirror reports. The youngster was then rushed to Royal Liverpool University Hospital, but despite the best efforts of medical staff, he sadly passed away a short time later.
On Sunday, a white tent could be seen in the outside dining area of the restaurant chain, which had been taped off by authorities.
