The teenager was set upon as he spent a Sunday afternoon with friends near a park in Stockport. He had been near Bruntwood Park in Cheadle with his pals when they were approached by three men on bikes.
The boy was attacked and had some of his possessions stolen. The three men fled and left the victim with serious injuries, which needed hospital treatment.
Police were called at about 3.30pm on Sunday, March 28. No arrests have been made, and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
