A teenager has denied murdering a 14-year-old boy stabbed to death in Harpurhey. Nathaniel Shani died following an incident last month.
A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with murder and appeared at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday morning (October 18).
He pleaded not guilty and is set to go on trial in March next year. He pleaded guilty to an offence of having an article with a blade or point, namely a knife.
Judge Alan Conrad KC told the teenage defendant: "There is going to be another hearing before the trial, that will be on December 21.
