Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.North Lanarkshire Council have lifted the road closure into the main entrance at Strathclyde Park.The stretch leading into the park from Hamilton Road had been closed off to traffic since the lockdown was put in place.However, motorists could still access the park from the Raith Interchange but were not allowed to travel right through.The new opening will also still have a restriction in place as you will not be able to travel right through the park again from the main entrance.Signage has also been placed around the park reminding users of the 2m distance rule and also warns motorists that if a car park is full to “find a safe alternative”.Playgrounds and outdoor.
