Borussia Dortmund have pointed the finger at Man Utd for their failure to complete a transfer for Jadon Sancho. The 20-year-old winger is set to remain in Germany this season despite months of speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.
Dortmund made it clear early on in the summer that they would not be held to ransom over Sancho as the deadline draws near. And they have stuck to their word, refusing bids from United which did not meet their £108million valuation.
They had also set a strict deadline of August 10 for a deal for Sancho to be completed, although it was widely expected that date would be flexible within reason.
