Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.
He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,
Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.
Borna Barisic has been enjoying some post-Euros downtime in his home country. But his flash set of wheels wowed fans in an Instagram post on Monday night.
The defender struggled for game time under manager Zlatko Dalic during the tournament with a persistent back complaint sidelining him during Croatia's run to the last 16.
Spain would eventually prove a step too far as they brushed aside the Croats in extra time but they certainly shone at Hampden when the Luka Modric inspired visitors sent Scotland crashing out.
Barisic came on as a substitute in that game but he is now relaxing back home and will rejoin his Gers team-mates and manager Steven Gerrard soon.
