Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

dailystar.co.ukCovid restrictions, it has been reported.Boris Johnson will make the announcement at 5pm, it has been announced, after Health Secretary Matt Hancock talks with the House of Commons.Mr Hancock is expected to place more of England into Tier 4, the strictest restrictions, which much of the south and east of England are currently in.
Prior to the tier changes, Secretary Gavin Williamson is expected to make an announcement delaying the reopening of schools in January.
It is understood the Prime Minister will address the above developments while also touching on Brexit, and the Oxford vaccine, which was approved today, December 30.
