Boris Johnson has revealed that doctors prepared to announce his death as he was treated for coronavirus in hospital last month.

The Prime Minister spent a week at St Thomas’ in London - three of those days in intensive care - after he tested positive for the virus on March 27.

Speaking to the Sun On Sunday, Mr Johnson has now revealed that medics gave him “litres and litres of oxygen” while he was being treated.
