Bono of the band U2 was promoting his new book Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story on Tuesday in New York City.The rock star told Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos that a lot of the memoir is about love.

The crooner - who has been married to his high school sweetheart Ali Hewson for the past 40 years - added most of it is 'a love letter to Ali.' And we've been through stuff, everybody knows that. But we've always got each other there in the end.'The scribe admitted he was afraid of showing the book to his spouse of more than 40 years.
