The death of 90-year-old Sean Connery at the end of October shocked many who looked up to and admired him as an actor. Sean, who was best known for his iconic portrayal of James Bond, was found dead in his bed at home in the Bahamas, after passing away in his sleep.
It was unknown at the time, but now the cause of death of the actor has been revealed, and it has been confirmed that he suffered from ‘respiratory failure’.
According to his death certificate, Sean Connery’s respiratory failure was brought about by pneumonia, old age, and atrial fibrillation – a heart condition causing an irregular and fast heart rate.
