ROCK musician Alec John Such, the original bassist for the band Bon Jovi, has died at the age 70. The rock star's death was announced on Sunday by the band's lead singer Jon Bon Jovi who highlighted Such's role as one of Bon Jovi's founding members.

Such reunited with them for the momentous occasion. ‘When Jon Bon Jovi called me up and asked me to be in his band many years ago, I soon realised how serious he was and he had a vision that he wanted to bring us to, and I am too happy to have been a part of that vision,’ he said at the time.
