Ali Crawford is closing in on having his time away from Bolton Wanderers extended and could leave the club on a permanent baisis, Ian Evatt has confirmed.
The 30-year-old joined Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone in the summer having fallen down the pecking order at Wanderers and has slotted in well at the Saints since his move.
He played 24 times for the Trotters in all competitions last season under Ian Evatt, but found the back of the net only once.
