Bolton Wanderers have confirmed their first four fixtures of their pre-season schedule ahead of the new League One season. Wanderers finished last season ninth in League One and are aiming to build on that positive result as a newly promoted team in the 2022/23 campaign.
The club is aiming to mount a promotion charge and target the top six at least. The Whites are due to return for pre-season training on June 17, before jetting out to Portugal for a training camp a few days later on June 19.
Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has said he hopes to have the squad fundamentally in place by the start of pre-season in terms of getting their transfer window business done early. Instead it is purely a pre-season training camp to help prepare for the new campaign and build team spirit, morale and bond.
