Bolton town centre to make latest TV appearance in Channel 4 drama It's a Sin

For all the latest news from in and around Bolton, sign up for the free MyBolton newsletterBolton town centre continues to provide the backdrop for some of Britain's biggest TV shows - and will appear on our sets again in January.Channel 4 drama It's a Sin transformed part of Le Mans Crescent, behind Bolton Town Hall, into a 1980s London street to serve as the setting for for the programme.The show will look into the life of three teenagers who are finding out what it was like to grow up gay in Britain 40 years ago.At the same time, It's a Sin will analyse the impact the AIDs crisis and the increasing pressure of public homophobia had on young gay men.Camera crews rolled into Bolton on October 17, 2019, to film for the show.
