A Boltonian has raised eyebrows for his well-spoken voice on a YouTube challenge. Danny Chapman recorded a video of himself speaking for the AccentBase channel, which aims to collect as many accents as possible from around the world.
In the video, Danny recites a script welcoming people to Bolton , before demonstrating all of the vowel and consonant sounds in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).
At the end of the video, he signs off in true Boltonian fashion by saying: "Come to Bolton. You're welcome anytime, you can have a chip butty." However, a lot of people in the YouTube comments weren't sold on his accent.
