Bollywood’s Karisma Kapoor ‘not sure she would act again’ before Mentalhood changed her mind

Karisma Kapoor is one of the biggest icons to rise out of Bollywood over the last few decades, starring in Raja Hindustani and Jeet among many other classics.

The 45-year-old chose to take a break in her career and stay home to look after her children – Samaira and Kiaan – but has returned for new ZEE5 original project, Mentalhood.

The series, her first web show, gives an honest, hilarious look at the lives at six supermums as they battle to give their children the best lives.

Chatting to Metro.co.uk she admitted that she wasn’t certain she wanted to return to the screen after starting a family – but the script was something she couldn’t miss out on. ‘Basically, I was not really sure that I wanted to work again, act again,’ she said. ‘When
