The body of an unidentified man - thought to have drowned - was pulled from a pond in New York City's Central Park on Labor Day.
Police were alerted at 12.27pm on Monday after passersby reported seeing the body floating near the Loeb Boathouse, Manhattan, reports NBC News.
NYPD divers were pictured using a body board to fish out the man - with the water located off Fifth Avenue and 59th Street. It is a block from The Plaza Hotel and nicknamed Swan Lake.
Members of the city's fire department were also involved in retrieving the body. A red tarp covered the man who was pronounced dead at the scene but has not yet been identified.
