The body of a newborn baby was found dumped in a wheelie bin while wrapped in a plastic bag. He was alive when he was born, an inquest at Blackpool Town Hall heard, and a witness said they heard a baby crying in a nearby home before the tragic discovery was made.
The baby boy was discovered by an officer in Lancashire in August 2018. His grandparents attended the hearing this morning. No one has been arrested in connection with the death of the infant, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
