Cops have launched a probe into an 'unexplained death' after the body of a man was found this morning at a park in a Scots village.Emergency crews were alerted to the scene at Quarry Park in Leslie, Fife at around 7:30am this morning, Sunday, February 25.
Officers say the death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.Images taken from the scene show police and firefighters at the park this morning.Speaking to the Record, one local said: "We woke up this morning and the place was swarming with the emergency services."Detectives have been at our door as well asking if we had seen anything.
It is really out of the ordinary and not something we usually see around here."A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.30 am on Sunday, 25 February, 2024 we were made aware the body of a man had been discovered in the Leslie area."The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
