A newborn baby found dead at a recycling centre will be buried with a teddy bear made from the uniform of the workers who found her.
The baby was found abandoned in Bradford, West Yorks on August 20, with a pink beach towel wrapped around her. The mother has yet to come forward despite urgent pleas from the police and maternity ward workers.
Devastated workers who found the baby named her Daisy and have decided to honour her in a special way so they are "always with her".
A handcrafted teddy bear has been made from their high-vis orange uniform, which will be buried with Daisy. Lionel Mairs, 31, was one of the workers who found the baby and his partner, Laura Pratt, 26, commissioned the bear to bring comfort to him and his colleagues.
