A body has been found during searches for a missing scallop diver who vanished in Orkney. The discovery was made on Friday morning near the island's Churchill Causeway.
The family of the diver, who had been reported missing from Scapa Flow ten days ago, has been informed.There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Two coastguard helicopters, a fixed wing aircraft, rescue teams from Kirkwall, Hoy and St Margarets and lifeboats from Longhope and Thurso were all called to assist with the search.
Orkney Islands Council tugs were also involved. Earlier this week, Police Scotland's marine unit were also drafted in to the rescue mission.
