A huge search operation was launched at around 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday) after the teenager went missing. He was swimming in the River Dee in Handbridge, just south of Chester.
At around 11pm last night, Cheshire Police said a body had been found. Formal identification has not taken place yet, but the body is believed to be that of the missing boy.
