A man's body has been found 'wrapped in a blanket' on the roof of a three-storey home in Leeds sparking an emergency response.
The discovery was made shortly after 2.30pm on Sunday, October 9 when West Yorkshire Police were alerted to reports of a body having been spotted on a rooftop on Harehills Avenue in Chapeltown on the outskirts of the city.
The force believe the body is that of 32-year-old missing man Gerard Colgan, who disappeared from the same area on Friday, October 7.
Mr Colgan's family have been informed, reports LeedsLive. Emergency services rushed to the scene and the street was locked while a probe was launched.
