Bobby Moynihan Joins NBC’s Tracy Morgan Comedy Pilot

EXCLUSIVE: Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan has been tapped as a series regular opposite Tracy Morgan in NBC‘s untitled comedy pilot from Tina Fey, Robert Carlock and Sam Means.

In addition to sharing Saturday Night Live background with Morgan, Fey, Carlock and Means, Moynihan was a series regular on NBC’s Mr.

Mayor and did an arc on Netflix’s The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, both co-created and executive produced by Fey and Carlock. He also guest starred on the duo’s 30 Rock, created by and starring Fey.

Means worked on all three series. NBC’s untitled Tracy Morgan comedy pilot, written by Carlock and Means and directed by Rhys Thomas, centers on Reggie (Morgan), a disgraced former football player on a mission to rehabilitate his image.
