Bobby Brazier had his dad Jeff in tears as he accepted the award for Rising Star at the National Television Awards. The 20 year old actor, who plays Freddie Slater in BBC One soap EastEnders, was also emotional when he picked up the gong at the ceremony held at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday, 5 September.
Bobby had been sat in the celebrity audience with his dad, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 44, and his EastEnders co-star Molly Rainford, prior to collecting the prized trophy at the awards show hosted by comedian Joel Dommett.
