Blur's Graham Coxon thinks he was alcoholic at 5 years old as he talks recovery

Blur's Graham Coxon said he believes he was "probably" an alcoholic from the age of five. The guitarist, 52, rocketed to the peak of his fame on rock band Blur in 1988.

And with fame come the free drinks and partying on tour which quickly become part of the boybander's lifestyle. It was at its worst in 2001 when Graham was battling his alcohol demons and he admitted: "I couldn't stop.

It was as simple as that." Now, having got help for his troubles, the rock star said he was "probably" an alcoholic from the age of five — it was a kind of fate destined for him.

He told the Blank podcast : "I do believe that I was probably an alcoholic when I was five, six. It was ready, it was sitting there, just because of the sort of person I was. "I
