Blue Ivy Carter is a winner! The 8-year-old daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z won her first BET award at the 2020 BET Awards on Sunday (June 28). PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of Blue Ivy Carter Blue Ivy took home the BET Her Award for her song “Brown Skin Girl” alongside the 38-year-old entertainer, SAINt JHN and Wizkid.

The song was featured on The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack album. This isn’t the first award Blue Ivy has won for “Brown Skin Girl.” The song also won the the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards and Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration at the 2020 NAACP Image Awards.
