Debbie Harry has opened up about her addiction to heroin, comparing it to having a full-time job. The Blondie lead singer, now 74, has said that tracking down and scoring the drug made the addiction a "drag".
It was all the effort that went into being a drug addict that eventually made her give it up. Debbie compared herself to fellow addict Amy Winehouse, saying she didn't do them while she was working like the late singer.
Speaking to ES Magazine, Debbie said: "I wasn't taking drugs when I was working, so when I was working I wasn't taking drugs.
