Blink-182 rocker Mark Hoppus has revealed how he contemplated taking his own life while struggling to come to terms with his cancer diagnosis. In June 2021, the 50-year-old musician announced he was battling stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma after privately undergoing chemotherapy for three months. ‘I have cancer. It sucks and I’m scared, and at the same time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this,’ he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. ‘I still have months of treatment ahead of me but I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive.
