Thania Garcia Blink-182 was forced to push shows in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin due to drummer Travis Barker’s “urgent family matter,” which sent him back to the States.
The band informed fans via X (formerly Twitter) a few hours before they were set to go on at Glasgow’s Ovo Hydro in Scotland on Friday night. “Travis has had to return home to the States,” the band wrote in a tweet. “More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.” Barker has not issued an official statement but did update his Instagram stories with a set of photos including a “Prayer Room,” a shot of a chapel and a “Together We Pray” sign.
Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed.
More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available. A representative for the band did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for further clarification on the pushed gigs.
