Shocking video shows a blind man kicked by a dog-owner, after he accused him of leaving his pet in a hot car for "over two hours".

Alun Elder-Brown, who is registered blind, captured the incident after the owner returned to his vehicle having apparently left his pet in the sweltering heat.

Temperatures in Norman's Bay, East Sussex, reached 23 degrees last Wednesday, prompting concern from a group of bystanders who spotted the dog barking from inside the car.

The video begins with Alun and the group expressing concern for the animal, they say has been left in "27 degree" heat. Eventually, the dog's owner returns to the vehicle and a woman begins shouting: "Is this your dog? "Get it taken home before I ring the police.
