Blantyre restaurant welcomes MSP to celebrate award win

An award-winning Lanarkshire eaterie received a special visit from the local MSP to mark their recent industry successes.Carrigan’s, which has restaurants in Hamilton, Blantyre and East Kilbride, was named independent multiple operator of the year at the Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN) awards and was then recognised in a Holyrood motion of congratulations tabled by Clare Haughey MSP.She then visited the branch at Broompark Road in Blantyre, which is part of her Rutherglen constituency, to present a framed copy of the text to family restaurateurs John, Philomena and Barry Carrigan.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
