Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (born March 3, 1997) is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and actress.
She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor (U.S.) in 2012, signing a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records.
While a part of Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes, and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Columbia Records is a subsidiary under Sony Music Entertainment, where she joins the likes of Beyoncé, Adele, Harry Styles and more.As part of the newly minted partnership, Jennie is set to release new music as a soloist as early as this October.
The forthcoming single will mark her first solo project since she released ‘You & Me’ in October 2023.However, she has since been collaborating with artists on music in the time since, including Brockhampton’s Matt Champion on ‘Slow Motion’ in March and Zico on ‘SPOT!’ in April this year.
The BLACKPINK star also notably teased an unreleased song on TikTok in June as part of her endorsement of the latest Beats by Dre earphones.Jennie’s upcoming release under Columbia Records will also make her the second BLACKPINK member to drop new solo music since the quartet opted not to re-sign with YG Entertainment in favour of independent solo ventures.
