BLACKPINK member Jennie has shared more about her plans for her budding acting career since appearing in the HBO series The Idol.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie recently made a guest appearance on American talk show The Jennifer Hudson Show in support of her upcoming debut solo album ‘Ruby’.
In an exclusive online clip of her appearance, the K-pop star spoke about her future acting projects and what fans could expect.Jennie said “definitely yes”, when asked by host Jennifer Hudson about whether fans could see the K-pop idol in acting projects in the future. “But I wanna focus on my album just [for] now,” Jennie added.
She notably made her silver screen debut with a supporting role on HBO’s The Idol.When asked if she has a dream role in mind, Jennie admitted that she doesn’t have one just yet. “To be honest, for the past year and a half, I’ve been so focused on being inspired with this album that I have no brain energy left to think about who I wanna be,” she explained. “Definitely more in the future for me, hopefully.”Jennie is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Ruby’ on March 7.
