Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi has given two clear reasons why Scotland star Billy Gilmour isn't first pick for the Seagulls.
Gilmour made the £9million move to the south coast from Chelsea this summer in the hope of linking up with then boss Graham Potter and getting much needed game time.
However things took a rapid twist with Potter moving the other way to take up the Stamford Bridge hot seat less than a week later.
And now the 21-year-old has become a bit part player under De Zerbi with Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister the Italian's preferred options in midfield.
