Eilish chatted with Apple Music's Zane Lowe about how the new song, which splits her dulcet vocals over the ballad-turned-groovy tune, channels her growth as a person, but her growth as an artist is also a salient force to be reckoned with. "This was such a satisfying process.
It was so, so satisfying. We wrote the song in like two days," she said of their "crazy fast" songwriting and recording process, which Eilish notes has been picking up the pace lately. "This is the most we've ever worked in one period of time.
