She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Billie Eilish shared several photos that had been taken during the filming of her newly-released music video for her track Lost Cause.The 19-year-old hitmaker was seen spending time and getting close to several other dancers as she wore SKIMS designs from Kim Kardashian. 'I love girls,' she said in her caption.Lost Cause is the most recent single that has been released ahead of the debut of the Bad Guy songwriter's second studio album, entitled Happier Than Ever, which will be made available later this year.
