Billie Eilish’s song ‘When the Party’s Over’ has been used as the closing track in a campaign ad from Vice President Kamala Harris’ which focuses on reproductive care.Earlier this week, the ‘Happier Than Ever’ singer and her brother and collaborator Finneas endorsed Harris’ presidential candidacy.
The siblings shared a video on social media, announcing that they are voting for her and Tim Walz, “because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy.”Finneas went on to say: “We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms and our future.

The ad highlights the dangers of a lack of reproductive care under a Donald Trump presidency and features activist Hailey Duvall telling her story of how she was raped and impregnated by her stepfather at the age of 12.The clip is soundtracked by Eilish’s 2018 single ‘when the party’s over’, and sees Duvall explain that, while she was able to access healthcare like abortion, the overturning of Roe v.
