Billie Eilish Is Preparing to Perform for the Prince and Princess of Wales
glamour.comis considered pop royalty in the states. Now, the “Bad Guy” singer is preparing to meet actual royalty. Eilish is among the lucky artists set to perform during the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony on Friday, December 1, where Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales, will be the guests of honor.
According to couple's office, the ceremony will serve as the capstone to the royal couple's historic three-day trip to Boston—their first visit to the U.S.
in a decade. The honor those who have made outstanding achievements in the fight against climate change. Five winners will be honored for creating solutions to some of the planet's most pressing environmental challenges.Eilish will be accompanied by her brother and lifelong collaborator Finneas.
Other musical acts will include Chloe x Halle, Annie Lennox, and Ellie Goulding. Previously, Lennox and Goulding performed at Prince William and Kate Middleton's reception in 2011.
