Big-hearted Rangers donate family tour of Ibrox as prize for school playpark fundraiser

Rangers have donated a stadium tour of Ibrox as a prize at a North Ayrshire community fundraiser.Woodlands Primary School parent council is putting on a race night at R&A Bar Sport in Irvine on Friday, August 6, to raise money which will go towards the building of an inclusive playpark.

In 2019, Woodlands pupils took part in the Terracycle national contest to win a playground made from recycled Colgate oral care products, but could only finish in second place.However, determined parent council leader Kim Curdie is on a mission to raise £10,000 to build the playpark before her final year as chairwoman runs out.Kim said: "The kids were so let down when they didn't win the playpark."It has been difficult for them.

R&A Sports Bar in Irvine High Street is hosting the race night in its function room for free while also hiring the DJ/MC for the night out of their own pocket.
