Big Brother star Lily Benson has revealed what it's like for housemates who have their time of the month in the iconic house - particularly if you're hit with a nasty case of period cramps.The reality star took part in the 2024 series of Big Brother and while she was a favourite to make it into the final, she placed 11th in the competition after being evicted last week.

Speaking to OK! in an exclusive chat, Lily opened up about what happened when she came on her period in the house and the help that she was given by producers. "What I didn't understand before I did the show is that it's like a full time job [for producers].

It's a 24-hour situation," she said. "I thought they went home when we go to sleep but they don't - I had to go to the diary room for a paracetamol because I had period camps.

It was in the middle of the night." She added that housemates are also provided with tampons and other sanitary products, while painkillers are available on request. "I had cramps so I just asked for paracetamol and they gave it to me through a hatch," she added.
