Big Brother's Grace and Mikey reflect on 'pressure' after show ahead of its epic return

It's been over 16 years since we watched Grace Adam-Short and Mikey Dalton fall in love in the Big Brother house, and the couple's romance has only gone from strength to strength in the years that followed.

Grace, 38, and Mikey, 40, both starred on the hit reality TV show in 2006, alongside the likes of Pete Bennett, Imogen Thomas and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.The loved-up pair left the house as a couple and continued their romance in the outside world, despite admitting they faced "pressure" to split up.

Mikey told new! magazine: “It felt like from every angle people were, at first, trying for us to get together and then once we were together and happy, everyone was like yeah so if you guys could just split up that would be better pictures.” He noted that Big Brother was "such an intense show" back in 2006 as it attracted huge attention from the media, which added pressure to contestants during their time on the show and after.

However, Mikey told new! that when he looks back on his reality TV stint he just has "really fond memories" of Big Brother, and compared appearing on the show to a "gap year". "We were young, early twenties mid-20s, and we were just going for kind of, a summer of enjoyment.
