Celebrity Big Brother legend Lauren Harries has been rushed to hospital for an emergency procedure. Lauren, 45, confirmed that she's undergone emergency brain surgery after her mum broke the news on Twitter on Friday.

Her mum Kate Harries took to Twitter to explain to fans what had happened after her daughter was rushed to hospital and also begged fans to "send prayers" as her daughter recovered from the operation.

Lauren then retweeted what her mum had said, confirming the news. Kate wrote: "Please pray or send good thoughts to my precious daughter Lauren @LaurenHarries.
