Big Brother host Julie Chen reveals that the reality series has been renewed for a 25th season

Joseph Abdin has only been out of the Big Brother world for less than a week, and while he’s being inundated with questions about the experience, he’s hoping fans can understand that he’s focusing on himself and extending support to winner Taylor Hale before taking a deep dive into everything that happened this summer.

It’s been just a few days since Taylor Hale was crowned the winner of the 2022 season of Big Brother, and now, fans are wanting to know about her relationship with fellow contestant, Joseph Abdin.

Taylor Hale, the first Black woman to ever win Big Brother, didn’t have an easy path to victory. Week after week, she was torn down by other houseguests and it was her inherent resilience and propensity for forgiveness that started to change people’s opinions.

The announcement was made immediately following the conclusion of Season 24. “A big thank you to all our house guests for an absolutely incredible summer,” series host Julie Chen-Moonves said in a message posted to Twitter. “I know. I’m going to miss watching the show too, but I’ve got a great plan. This fall, spend some time watching other CBS competition shows. We’ve got ‘Survivor,’ we’ve got ‘The Amazing Race,’ and now we’ve got ‘The Real Love Boat.’ That’ll get you prepped for next summer. That’s right! Taylor Hale became the first Black female to win Big Brother on Sunday during the season 24 finale on CBS.The 27-year-old beauty pageant queen from Michigan beat out Monte Taylor, 27, of Delaware, and Matthew 'Turner' Turner, 23, of Massachusetts, to win the $750,000 grand prize.Taylor also won an additional $50,000 after she was voted America's Favorite Houseguest by viewers. Early in the season, everyone (including Monte) seemed to have it out for Taylor, to a level that many viewed as problematic and racially motivated.
