As the finale of Big Brother gets underway, fans of the show are urging ITV to 'get their act together' in anticipation of the next celebrity edition.Celebrity Big Brother made a comeback on our screens earlier this year, with twelve well-known personalities cohabiting for a span of 19 days.Cut off from the outside world, they embarked on an intense social experiment, participating in weekly tasks while under constant surveillance.The celebrity line-up featured presenter Fern Britton, music mogul Louis Walsh, Coronation Street's Colson Smith and even Princess of Wales' uncle Gary Goldsmith.
However, it was David Potts, known for his stint as head rep on Ibiza Weekender, who emerged victorious. Now, with the latest civilian series concluding, fans are speculating about the possibility of another celebrity edition, reports the Mirror.
Initial reports claimed a new series will air in 2025 and once again last for around three weeks. In a post on the broadcaster's official social media account, it confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will return for a new star-studded edition next year.While no specific dates were mentioned it is believed episodes will begin sometime from April - June.
It has been confirmed that the show will broadcast on ITV1, as oppose to the regular series which was only shown on ITV2.The broadcaster confirmed the 2024 series less than a week before the regular civilian series finished in 2023, so they have left it a little later this time around.Anticipation is building for what's expected to be one of the must-see reality series of next year, yet fans already have some clear expectations.
